Samesake
Menu

same·sake  noun: two or more records, in different systems, that turn out to be the same person.

One customer,
recognised everywhere.

Your CRM, billing and support systems each know your customers a little differently. No more searching every system for one customer: Samesake links the records that belong together. If a match needs a closer look, it asks your team first and shows them why.

One person · 3 records

Linked automatically
Three records for the same customer in CRM, Billing and Support, spelt differently. They share an email address and a phone number, so they are linked automatically into one person.

How Samesake decides

  • Strong evidence

    It links them for you

It weighs everything it can compare, not just exact matches: a nickname, a typo, a swapped date of birth, the same house written another way. Strong evidence links on its own.

  • A closer look

    It asks first

Doubtful pairs wait for one of your team to confirm, with the two records side by side.

  • Every time

    Decisions stick

A rejected pair is never linked on its own; it only comes back if the evidence gets much stronger. A confirmed link isn't quietly undone.

How it works

  1. Connect your systems

Customer records come in from your CRM, billing, support and other systems through the API or CSV files, often from a simple flow that runs whenever a record changes. Your systems keep owning their data; Samesake only reads it.

  2. Samesake matches; your team confirms

Each field adds or takes away a visible weight. Strong matches link automatically. Doubtful pairs go to a review queue, where one of your team decides.

  3. One ID, wherever you need it

An identity map links each source record to a shared customer ID. Power BI and Excel can read it for reports; Azure Data Factory or similar tools can use it in your other systems.

Finds your duplicates without touching them

Your systems stay exactly as they are. Samesake reads their records, recognises which ones are the same customer and links them, without changing, merging or deleting anything. Your systems stay the owners of their data.
